MShift and Card Services for Credit Unions (CSCU) have partnered with the Federal Credit Union of Irwindale, California to provide its 42000 members with mobile banking services. The $500 million CU is aiming to adapt and provide “new financial services”, as the Credit Union times quoted its CEO.
MShift Inc. has already provided the FCU in Houston with a mobile banking platform freely available to all its customers. The Silicon Valley-based mobile solutions company has created the apps for all the modern operating systems, and seems to be moving in that direction, with its provision of the Motorola CU in Illinois. CSCU also was involved in this partnership, which provides SMS banking, and a mobile browser app.
