CSI GlobalVCard creates virtual payment option

The US-based B2B payment solutions company has released an innovative way to make payments for businesses. Credit card holders can create virtual account information with which to make its payments, which is then shown to merchants, instead of their credit card. Specific accounts can be created with the credit limit equal to the purchase, so it makes the account useless to people who get hold of it.

The system works by the account information being sent by an email, which is then displayed at any MasterCard accepting merchant. It can be displayed this way through any mobile with internet capabilities, or tablet. The added security should make this payment process very attractive, and as it does not involve any new technology, can be accessed by a larger customer base than the current NFC-enabled mobile payments.
