The mobile banking solution, called Mobiliti, will allow the bank’s customers to monitor account activity, locate branches and ATMs, transfer funds and pay bills via SMS, mobile browsers and downloadable applications for Android, iPhone and Blackberry devices (view press release). The solution integrates with Territorial Savings Bank’s existing online banking platform, Retail Online (also a Fiserv solution), allowing customers to conduct financial transactions online and via mobile. The bank also uses card services and remote deposit capture solutions from Fiserv as well as CheckFree RXP which allows account holders to pay bills directly from their online or mobile banking account.
“The new mobile banking service from Territorial Savings Bank meets the needs of a wide variety of customers, from young professionals who want to bank primarily via their smartphones, to others who just want to keep a close eye on their balance,” said division president of digital channels at Fiserv, Erich Litch.
A recent report from Fiserv found that around 25% of US households now use mobile banking.
