Lavu Inc. partners Mercury Payments and Century Payments and waives POS license fee

Lavu Inc., developer of POSLavu, a solution it claims to be the first iPad POS system for restaurants, is waiving its upfront licence fee of $895 (view press release). The solution is now available, licence fee free, through a new partnership with payment processors Mercury Payments and Century Payments. The initiative is aimed at giving small restaurateurs an opportunity to take advantage of a full featured payment system without the burdening costs.

I understand the pain and frustration of owning a restaurant, especially a smaller business,” says Lavu CEO Andy Lim. “We developed a better way for restaurateurs to run efficiently so they can put their resources toward other things.
