Chirpify nabs USD1.3 million for Twitter transactions

Conducting transactions on Twitter

Twitter payment platform, Chirpify, has banked USD1.3 million in a Series A funding round from Voyager Capital and a host of angel investors. The Portland based-startup allows companies and consumers to conduct transactions on Twitter, linking Twitter profiles to PayPal accounts. The firm has also just launched a platform specifically for musicians and labels to sell songs and concert tickets to fans via tweets. Chirpify will use the new capital to hire staff and expand its payment platform.
