BillingTree, a US on-demand payment processor, has been tapped to contribute payment technology and electronic billing content at the upcoming Conferences Connect Summer School 2012 Series (view press release). The company will lead presentations, participate in panels and host workshops across 4 events in 2 cities. Conferences Connect delivers conferences, courses and webinars for electric utility and other energy industry executives. Art Coutcher, BillingTree’s Utility Vertical Manager, will be sitting on all panels for the company and addressing the use of text messaging for bill presentment and payment, payment account verification, EBPP, the collection of past due balances using virtual agents, online payment portals and the potential impact of a five day mail week on the billing cycle.
