Klarna welcomes Morris and Levy to Board

Welcomes new board members

Klarna, a European online payments service, has appointed Anton Levy and Nigel Morris to Board of Directors (view press release). Morris is the co-founder of Capital One Financial Services, issuer of Visa and MasterCard, where he worked until 2004. Morris is currently the managing partner of QED Investors. Levy is an MD at General Atlantic, an equity firm he joined in 1998. In this role, Levy heads General Atlantic’s global Internet and Technology practice and is part of the firm’s Executive Committee. He is also the director of a number of companies in General Atlantic’s portfolio and manages some of the firm’s investments in the marketing services, Internet and media areas. He previously had a seat on the boards of Dice Holdings, MercadoLibre and Zantaz Corporation. Morris and Levy will be working alongside existing board members Klaus Hommels of Hommels Holding, Michael Moritz of Sequoia Capital, Chairman Eva Cederbalk and Klarna’s founders.
