Violating App Store terms and conditions

Apple will reject apps that use micro-donations service Flattr, claiming they violate App Store terms and conditions. Flattr is a payment platform that lets users upload a lump sum of money to their Flattr account each month. Throughout the month, users ‘Flattr' underfunded apps or websites they like, with preloaded money distributed between them at the end of the month.

Apple recently removed podcast manager Instacast from the App Store because it lets users choose to 'Flattr' podcast makers as they listened. Apple is likely attempting to protect its own payment platform, which takes a 30% cut of all payments made through apps in its App Store.
