E-commerce firm Flubit! has raised USD1.75 million from undisclosed investors as the former group buying firm re-launches its site. CEO Bertie Stephens says the London-based firm left the group buying space to “build a platform capable of permanently changing online shopping“. Flubit!’s customers enter the name of a product they are looking for, along with the website with the best price and their email address into Flubit!’s search engine. The firm claims that it will then quote a cheaper offer. The new version of the website will be released later this summer.
