easycash, an Ingenico company, is entering an agreement with the Taxis Verts of Brussels, the largest taxi company in Belgium (view press release). Through the agreement the Taxis Verts fleet will be equipped with Ingenico’s iWL250 payment terminals and the easycash payment solution. The move to equip the taxis with an electronic payment facility is aimed at bringing an improved payment experience to the passengers of Brussels.
“The taxi industry is a key vertical market for the Ingenico group and we are very pleased to partner with Taxis Verts as it demonstrates the success of the internationalization of easycash,” said Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, EVP Europe SEPA.
