eServGlobal delivers unified recharge solution to Wataniya Kuwait

Recharge through a distribution network

eServGlobal, a telecoms software vendor specialising in mobile money and value-added services, has upgraded the recharge systems of Middle East operator, Wataniya Kuwait, to its unified solution, PayMobile (view press release). The Middle East operator first adopted eServGlobal voucher management technology in 2001 and started deploying the company’s solution for electronic recharge in 2009.

Utilising eServGlobal technology, Wataniya Kuwait can offer recharge through a distribution network currently consisting of around 16,000 agents. The popularity of electronic recharge in Kuwait has grown to now account for approximately 60% of all recharges. In the future, PayMobile will also enable Wataniya Kuwait to extend its services to provide its postpaid subscribers with a bill payment service. The company’s technology can also be adopted for other mobile money services such as m-commerce, mobile payments and mobile money transfer, either upon installation or later with software update.
