GlobalCollect integrates BOKU’s mobile payments platform

Accept mobile payments at checkout

GlobalCollect announces today that BOKU has been selected as its global mobile payments partner (see press release). The partnership integrates BOKU's payments platform into GlobalCollect's international payment network, allowing online merchants to accept mobile payments at checkout. The partnership leverages BOKU's pricing and transaction technology built by industry veterans from Amazon, Google, PayPal, Yahoo, Visa, BarclayCard, Bank of America, and AT&T. Using BOKU's mobile payments technology, GlobalCollect merchants can enable their customers to make purchases online via their mobile phone number at the checkout and confirm purchase with the letter ‘Y’ via SMS. The charges will then appear on their operator bill.

BOKU's mobile payment network is available in 67 countries through approximately 260 mobile network operators. GlobalCollect hopes this will create an extended capability. They are aiming to gain a wider experience of worldwide payment processing and in-depth knowledge of card and alternative payment methods, cultural payment preferences, and monetizing video gaming platforms.
