Payza, an online payment platform, announces today that Executive Vice President Firoz Patel has been nominated for the Ernst & Young Quebec Entrepreneur of the Year Award (view press release). This is the third year in a row that Patel has been nominated for the award, which is presented by Ernst & Young LLP’s Entrepreneurial Services Quebec practice. Nominees will be honoured at Ernst & Young’s annual Entrepreneur of the Year event held on June 19 in Montreal.
The Entrepreneur of the Year Awards recognizes entrepreneurs in Quebec and around the world. The Canadian program is in its 18th year of honouring the country’s entrepreneurs from all areas of business. Ernst & Young aims to encourage governments, educational institutions, the financial sector and Corporate Canada to work together to create an ecosystem in which an entrepreneurial culture can thrive. Award winners are chosen based on their vision, leadership, financial success and social responsibility.
