Delivering NFC marketing capability to iPhone users

Proxama, a provider of NFC mobile wallet and mobile marketing technology, is partnering with DeviceFidelity to deliver NFC marketing capability to iPhone users through its TagCenterNFC app (view press release).

Using the Device Fidelity’s new iCaisse4X NFC battery pack sleeve, users can transform the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S into NFC devices. The sleeve allows iPhone owners to download and use TagCenter to participate in NFC marketing campaigns and enjoy contactless payment capability. Advertisers will also be able to offer consumers promotional marketing content such as vouchers, loyalty incentives and video content that can be downloaded by touching an NFC-tagged poster.

Proxama has already been working closely with DeviceFidelity’s iCaisse4X NFC solution as it is supported in Proxama’s MasterCard Mobile Reference Kit which was announced in November 2011.
