Payment Data Systems (PYDS), an electronic payment solutions provider, is partnering with Futurex to deploy it Excrypt SSP9000 hardware security module for end-to-end encryption of its soon to be released iRemotePay mobile application (view press release). iRemotePay is a wireless mobile payments application for iOS that processes credit card and ACH payments over wireless networks and enables the merchant to view the transactions while away from the office.

The Excrypt SSP9000 hardware security module is compliant with current and emerging audit requirements. Sensitive cardholder data is encrypted at the point of capture by the iRemotePay mobile application and decrypted by the Excrypt SSP9000 behind a secure boundary for end-to-end protection.

After an exhaustive market search of encryption devices and methods, we believe Futurex provides the greatest capability to assure our iRemotePay customers that they have the best-in-class security and end-to-end encryption,” said PYDS CEO, Michael Long.
