Axfood selects Gunnebo’s SafePay solution for Swedish stores

The Gunnebo Security Group has signed a framework agreement with Axfood to supply, install and provide service for its cash handling system, SafePay, in all Swedish stores that are part of the Axfood chain (view press release). The agreement is valid for three years, for an initial order of 100 systems, and includes SafePay coin and note units, cash transfer units, software, installation, training, help desk and technical support. Most of the stores in the Axfood chain, including Willys, Willys Hemma, Hemköpand PrisXtra, will be able to make call-offs from the framework agreement.

“Axfood is a major player on the Swedish market for retail and it is very gratifying that they chose Gunnebo’s SafePay solution to create a safer workplace and streamline cash handling in their stores,” said Gunnebo Nordic MD, Bengt Nordén.
