Price comparison site MySmartPrice snares funding – Rumour

Indian price comparison site MySmartPrice has secured IRN20 million (USD368,000) in new funding from Helion and Accel. Initially launching as a book price comparison site in 2010, the Hyderabad-based startup allows users to browse different prices of goods from a number of categories including electronics, games and cameras and claims to update its prices every 24 hours. The firm, which currently employs six staff, also provides offers for deals from Indian retailers. MySmartPrice claims to attract some 60,000 visitors each day.
