FlexiGroup launches Paymate OntheGo in Australia

Australian financial services company, FlexiGroup, is launching Paymate OntheGo, a credit card reader package that allows small businesses to accept card payments using their smartphone, reports Sky News Australia. The solution is made up of a small card swiper that is inserted into a smartphone’s audio jack and a downloadable application that enables the smartphone to function as a PoS terminal.

The product provides fresh competition to PayPal Here which was launched in Australia earlier this year.
