Eat24.com, a web and mobile food delivery and takeout platform, is now offering PayPal as a payment option on its mobile site (view press release). The new facility will allow customers to pay for Eat24 food services via their PayPal account. The mobile service also remembers user preferences such as favourite restaurants, payment information and past orders, which will allow for re-ordering.
In March, PayPal was offered as a payment option on Eat24’s main site, and the company claims this proved popular. According to Eat24 co-founder, Nadav Sharon, PayPal payments make up nearly 40% of Eat24’s total credit card orders. In addition to this, 35% of all orders are through a mobile.
