Onebip launches single-click purchase feature for its m-payment solution

Providing one-click payment feature

Onebip, the m-payment business unit of global mobile commerce company, Neomobile, is launching a new single-click purchase feature for its m-payment solution, Onebip Mobile Brower (view press release). The solution will enable users, including mobile companies and digital and online merchants, to make payments on mobile devices in one click. In addition, mobile consumers will be able to purchase digital content and services, including music and video downloads, virtual currency, media subscriptions and games, via the browser on their mobile device, by clicking the Onebip icon.

Onebip uses an encrypted identification process which recognises the user’s phone number, providing authentication, which removes the need to input details such as a password or PIN. The user is required to click once on the Onebip icon to confirm their transaction, and the purchase is then charged to the user’s mobile phone bill. This means that consumers without a credit card can use their phones to browse and buy.

The solution can also detect if a customer is using an iPad or an iPhone, and whether they are accessing the website or application via WiFi or a 3G cellular connection. Onebip Mobile Browser then optimises the payment flow UI for the purchase depending on these factors.

Onebip, which is compatible for use with prepaid and post-paid mobile contracts supports, supports most smartphone platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows Phone and RIM.
