WorldPay US certifies Encore Network’s M2M cellular routers for ATM transactions

Wireless transactions through WorldPay's processing platform

Payment acquiring business, WorldPay US, has certified a line of C2C routers for wireless ATM transactions from Encore Network, a Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions provider for fixed and wireless communications (view press release).

As a result of the certification, the C2C routers have been approved for global wireless transactions via the WorldPay processing platform. By converting dial-up ATMs to IP-based cellular services the C2C aims to provide existing ATMs with the benefits of a 3G network’s increased throughput, reduced costs, reliability and speed.

The routers will be made available immediately to WorldPay ATM clients.
