Plink, an online-to-offline loyalty programme that rewards members for dining and shopping at their favourite national restaurant and offline stores, has closed a USD3 million Series A round of funding from Grotech Ventures (view press release). The funding will be used to accelerate development of Plink’s platform for offline advertisers, member acquisition marketing and growth of the company’s sale, marketing and technology teams. Currently, Plink users can earn rewards at around 350,000 locations across the US, including at Arby’s, Burger King, Dunkin’ Donuts and Taco Bell.
