NCB launches mobile banking initiative in Saudi Arabia

Banking transactions via smartphones

The National Commercial Bank (NCB) is launching a mobile banking service called Alahli Mobile in Saudi Arabia (view press release). Users will be able to query accounts and complete banking transactions via smartphones. The service will also allow customers to withdraw cash from ATM locations without an ATM card. The bank said the initiative comes as part of a new drive to develop e-services and self-banking facilities.
