Datacard Group, a provider of secure ID and card personalisation solutions, is launching the Datacard CR500 instant issuance system (view press release). The system is designed to enable banks, credit unions, retailers and service bureaus to print ready-to-use, flat financial cards on demand. CR500 also turns blank white stock into ready-to-use permanent payment cards instantly; the system can print around three different card types such as credit, debit or ATM cards. Datacard’s solution incorporates a magnetic stripe encoding, contact and contactless encoding options for EMV compliant card issuance and includes a dual-control security enclosure which complies with industry security standards. The system is part of the DatacardSecure Issuance Anywhere platform, created to provide customers with the ability to issue, replace and deliver cards anytime and anywhere securely.
