Safe Money

Kaspersky Lab, a vendor of endpoint protection solutions, is launching Safe Money, a solution designed to protect consumer’s money when shopping and banking online (view press release).  The new solution, found in Kaspersky Internet Security, automatically activates when visiting payment services such as PayPal and banking websites, while users can add their own bank or shopping websites to the list. It also isolates payment operations in a web browser, ensuring that transactions are not monitored and verifies the authenticity of the banking or payment website itself. This is designed to ensure that the site isn’t comprised by malware or a fake website made to look authentic.
