AmEx partners fred’s for credit scheme

American Express is partnering with general merchandise discount retail chain, fred’s Super Dollar to launch a three month American Express cardmember offer to celebrate the recent card acceptance agreement between the two companies (view press release). Between September and November, cardholders can earn a one-time USD10 statement credit by using their synced American Express Card to make a single purchase of at least USD30 in-store at fred’s Super Dollar locations. To take part in the offer, users must sync their eligible card with their Facebook, Twitter of foursquare account and then add the offer to their synced card.

Corporate and Prepaid Cards are not eligible.
