Banco Sabadell is offering its mobile banking service, dubbed BS Móvil, via the new Amazon Spain appstore (view press release). BS Móvil is the mobile version of the Banco Sabadell online banking service, which allows banking operations to be conducted via a mobile phone or tablet. The solution allows user to order bank transfers, check stock prices and make transactions with securities, activate and block debit and credit cards and locate bank branches and cash machines.
The Spanish banking group claims that its customer are already conducting 80% of their usual banking transactions through distance banking channels whether online or through a mobile device. This is reinforced by the fact that around 25% of the bank’s customers access it periodically via mobile phones or an iPad.
