ANZ Bank is launching an Android version of its goMoney app, enabling customers to transfer funds via their mobile phones.

"We know our customers want to do their banking on their own terms and this increasingly means using mobile devices. We were first to market with an iPhone app and we have built on this leadership position with the introduction of an Android version," said Glenn Haslam, head of product, Strategy & Marketing for ANZ Australia. “ANZ goMoney has materially shifted the way our customers do their banking. In August alone we had around 700,000 users processing around five million transactions. Customers are also more comfortable moving money via their mobiles having already transferred more than AUD10 billion this year alone.”
