EG Retail has signed a deal with Swedish payment solutions provider, Seamless, to update its shop data system FACKTA POS, enabling its customers to offer consumers the ability to pay using their mobile phones via SEQR (view press release). SEQR is Seamless’ mobile payment solution for the retail trade and on-line shopping. The deal also means that SEQR is automatically included with the latest version of FACKTA POS.
“The solution is both user-friendly and can be rolled out to shops without the shop having to invest in additional, often costly, equipment,” said Magnus Moberger, Sales Manager at EG Retail. “Moreover, for the first time our customers are able to reduce their transaction costs, in some cases savings involving several million kronor per year.”
