MoneyGram enters Bosnia and Herzegovina

Send and receive international money transfers

Money transfer company, MoneyGram, is partnering with Nova Bank to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the largest send and receive remittance markets in Eastern Europe (view press release). As a result of the deal, the bank’s customer will be able to send and receive international money transfers at around 40 Nova Bank locations across Bosnia.

The World Bank estimates Bosnia has the 12th-highest proportion of its population living abroad, with more than 1 million Bosnian citizens living and working outside Bosnia. The majority of money transfer sends to Bosnia originate from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the United States.
