FIS partners Barclays for banking services

Profile core accounting processing solution

FIS, a provider of banking and payments technology, is partnering Barclays to aid the bank’s launch of its online savings and CD products for US consumers (view press release). Barclays will deploy FIS’ Profile core account processing solution, providing it with a turnkey solution with real-time account processing and online account origination, designed to provide customers with an enhanced experience when opening an account, depositing funds or cheques remotely, viewing account information and linking to deposit accounts at other financial institutions in the U.S.

In addition, Profile will allow the bank to provide competitive products and solutions to its US customers, including high-yield certificates of deposit (CDs) and high-yield savings accounts.
