Silicon Valley Bank is launching an online and mobile payment service, dubbed SVB PayAbility (view press release). The service, co-developed by the bank and MineralTree, is targeted at SMEs. SVB PayAbility has been designed to streamline communication and offers multiple payment options, such as ACH and cheques, and documentation management capabilities. In addition, the SVB PayAbility iPad app allows users to payment review and approval, bringing secure payment capabilities to mobile users.
