Oracle utilises VeriFone’s mobile payment solution

PAYware Mobile Enterprise solution

Oracle, a developer of business software and hardware systems, has utilised the PAYware Mobile Enterprise solution and software development kit by VeriFone Systems, for its retail mobile point-of-service (view press release). PAYware Mobile Enterprise for Tablet and Touch incorporates an encrypted card reader and bar code scanner for use with iPod touch and iPad, providing retailers with a mobile solution that can integrate with existing point-of-sale infrastructure. VeriFone’s PAYware Mobile Enterprise for iPod touch provided Oracle with support for the most forms of payment acceptance, including NFC and EMV, in addition to regular magnetic stripe credit and debit cards. PAYware Mobile Enterprise works with all forms of electronic payment including magnetic stripe, chip and PIN, and contactless/NFC-enabled cards and phones.
