Russian mobile phone operator, MegaFon OJSC, has signed a deal with Net Element, a technology and publishing company that operates in mobile commerce and payment processing, to provide its subscribers with payment processing services (view press release). MegaFon will utilise Net Element’s mobile payment platform to facilitate the payments for its customers, of which there are an estimated 64 million.
