Scott Thompson, formerly the president of PayPal has joined the board of financial services data and technology platform, Kabbage (view press release). Kabbage which works to provide funds to online merchants recently closed a USD30 million funding round.
Earlier this year Thomson quit his role at PayPal to take over as CEO of Yahoo. However, within a few months he left this post due to a scandal concerning the misrepresentation of academic qualifications on his CV. Not out of work long, he soon became CEO of ShopRunner.
