Payment processor, BillingTree, is launching a new partner programme targeting qualified solution providers looking to integrate a payment portal as an extension or enhancement of their current offering (view press release). The new programme has been created to drive the increased adoption of electronic payments over the web, mobile and IVR payment channels.
Recently BillingTree’s has provided patient payment portal and processing services which have been adopted by hospitals and healthcare providers. The company claims this has resulted in improved revenue cycle management and faster access to cash through reduced days in A/R.
“The preference for fully integrated electronic patient payments is of growing importance to healthcare technology product management and hospital revenue cycle executives,” said Liz Caracciolo, BillingTree’s recently appointed VP of corporate development. “We want to forge alliances with best of breed technology companies servicing hospitals, healthcare professionals, physician groups and beyond, to integrate BillingTree’s comprehensive suite of payment processing solutions. By partnering, technology vendors can provide their clients a proven payment processing platform and ongoing innovations without diverting resources from their core product developments.”
