Online payments firm, Stripe, is launching a new version of its payments service, which allows users of any website to accept credit card payments (view press release). The company expects its new service dubbed Stripe Connect to increase the number of people who can accept payments and therefore boost the volume of payments across the web. Those who sell on an online marketplace, or use an online store service, a website creator, or invoicing system can receive payments via Stripe. The newly introduced system also features a series of capabilities including accounting, CRM online analytics tools and others.
The launch follows Stripes partnering with Chilling Effects, a service that monitors information take-down requests from third parties.
