Fortune Bank, a community bank headquartered in Seattle, is launching a mobile and remote banking service (view press release). Fortune Bank’s mobile banking app allows customers to view account balances and activity, transfer money between accounts or pay bills using their smartphone. The bank’s other new smartphone app, called XPRESS Deposit, allow customers to take a photo of a cheque and transmit the cheque image for deposit to their account at the bank.
The service is available on iPhones, Blackberry and Android phones.
