PrivatBank announce release of mobile payments app for Windows 8

Ukrainian bank PrivatBank, has announced the release of Private24, a mobile payments application that can be used with Windows 8.

The application will allow users to review bank statements, perform any payments, top up mobile phone accounts, pay for utilities, manage loans and deposits, and purchase air, railway and bus tickets.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of PrivatBank, Aleksander Vityaz said: "Now the most convenient and multifunctional mobile Bank can use the smartphone owner to all the most popular mobile platforms. Our application provides unique benefits for users of the new OS, because only in this application, you can pay bills or withdraw cash from ATMs using a QR-code. Such service in mobile applications is implemented for the first time in the world and in fact connects the virtual account with real infrastructure to receive payments."
