Ingenico, provider of payment solutions, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired the payment solutions activity of PT Integra Pratama (PT Integra), a leading player in Indonesia’s growing market. The transaction concerns the Point of Sale activity of PT Integra and PT Integrasi Service Mandiri (ISM) and is subject to the approval of local authorities.
According to Patrice Le Marre, EVP, Ingenico Asia: “The increased local presence in Indonesia is also an opportunity to develop our mobile payment solutions”.
This news comes a day after Ingenico announced a deal with BNP Paribas Fortis whereby retailers, artisans, and liberal professions will soon be able to use their smartphone to receive card payments in Belgium.
The company has also announced that ROAM, the leading mobile commerce platform provider, has named TaylorMade-Adidas Golf Company as the first retail customer to integrate ROAM’s software developer’s kit (SDK) in its TaylorMade Performance Labs (TMPL).
“ROAMpay helps TMPL to create the best possible customer experience and peak performance,” said Todd Fraser, Global Director of Business Development for TaylorMade.
