Solutions are widely used in retail shops

The Swedish electricals retailer Davids opens for mobile commerce in cooperation with Swedish Payair. Davids integrates Payair's solution for mobile commerce and from now on customers can buy products with their mobile phone directly in the web shop.

Payair solutions are widely used in both e-commerce and physical retail shops. The commercial launch of Payair´s solution was made in 2011. Davids currently has two physical stores and a growing e-commerce. Davids is part of Euronics, one of Europe's largest electronics chains.

”With Payair´s mobile commerce solution, we can offer our customers a quicker and easier shopping process. With this solution we may also be able to offer new trade routes directly from physical adds and billboards which can create new opportunities”, says Bernt-Erik Karlsson, head of e-commerce and marketing at Davids.

Davids´ focus on mobile commerce means that customers can make a purchase in Davids´ online store with their mobile phone by pressing the Payair button. It is also possible to purchase products directly from physical advertisements and billboards by scanning the QR-code next to each product.

Customers just have to download the Payair app and connect a debit or credit card the first time they use Payair for shopping. Next time the customer wants to buy something at Davids he just has to enter the PIN code to the Payair app.

“We are confident that Davids´ focus on mobile commerce will provide both new customers and increased sales. Many visitors to online stores in general do not finish the last steps in the buying process. It is often perceived complicated and time consuming. With Payair´s solution more purchases will be accomplished and customers will experience a simplicity and speed in the shopping process”, says Helena Törnell, Vice president of marketing at Payair.
