Payment services provider Ingenico has been selected by McDonalds in Ukraine to implement its contactless payments initiative in restaurants across the country.
The agreement means Ingenico will provide its NFC enabled PINPad iPP350 retail terminals to participating McDonald’s restaurants. The service is in partnership with JSC “Oschadbank”, one of the largest financial institutions of the country, and JSI “Bancomzvjazok”, the worldwide software development company for secured electronic transactions.
This experience, the first of its kind in a hospitality environment, conveys a move towards multi-choice payment in Ukraine.
