Nihon PayPal KK, SotBank Mobile and PayPal Pte Ltd have announced a full-scale expansion of PayPal Here. The global mobile payment solution is aimed at SME’s through over 2,700 SoftBank retail shops and business sales networks across Japan.
The solution allows small businesses to use a free mobile app and a care reader to accept multiple forms of payment. Consumers can use iPhone or Android devices to accept credit/debit cards and PayPal payments on-the-go while receiving funds through their PayPal accounts.
Furthermore, The PayPal merchant app for Android enables small businesses and entrepreneurs in Japan to accept payments through PayPal Here on both iOS and Android note devices. Merchants can also print out credit card receipts via compact Bluetooth mobile printers.
