Mobile payments provider Spindle, has acquired MeNetwork, a location based mobile marketing solution. MeNetwork’s service, which claims to operate across 84 US and 20 European markets, will be integrated into Spindle’s (Reports StrategyEye).
The combination will allow consumers to subscribe to merchants and catagories they’re interested in through MeNetwork’s technology and purchase products through Spindle. The terms of the buyout have not been disclosed. The deal comes a month after Spindle’s merger with PayLeap to expand the two companies’ services.
