Finnish marketing startup, Nosto, has raised a USD2.8m seed roundafter securing funding from Open Ocean Capital and Sanoma Ventures. Nosto’s online marketing SaaS product is targeted at small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses looking to drive more sales through online platforms.
The company’s service, which is currently in stealth mode, is offered free with Nosto taking a percentage of sales. Having already attracted some 50 clients around Europe the firm says it will be using the capital to seek a partnership with an internationally focussed sales organisation and develop new products.
