NCR Corporation has made an agreement for LevelUp to integrate its mobile payment and loyalty solution into NCR’s restaurant POS systems (view press release). The move will provide restaurants with a digital payment method and offer consumers a seamless experience when paying for their meal. LevelUp will interface with the NCR Aloha POS with a site-based integration, while developing its solution for deployment via NCR Cloud Connect expected later this year.
“LevelUp has always known that in order for mobile payments to become a standard for merchants, we need to provide a solution that seamlessly fits into their existing systems. The NCR relationship is significant because it makes using LevelUp simple for the tens of thousands of restaurants who already run Aloha,” said Seth Priebatsch, chief ninja at LevelUp. “NCR understands what it takes to help restaurants keep pace with technology, and by integrating LevelUp, we are helping them get the great tools they need to run their businesses better.”
