DoubleBeam has announced that it has acquired GoPago, a provider of commerce solutions to merchants and mobile payments platform for customers. The combined offering will enable merchants to leverage an integrated and modern point-of-sale and mobile commerce platform across traditional brick-and-mortar, online, and mobile channels.
The addition of the GoPago commerce platform to DoubleBeam’s suite of mobile retail solutions will deliver a mobile commerce platform that includes an integrated POS system.
The solution includes payments processing technologies such as mobile-based eCheck and remote deposit capture (RDC) payment options – these are already built in.
“We are very excited about the synergies between DoubleBeam’s leading mobile commerce solutions and the mobile point-of-sale systems that GoPago brings to the table” says Ted Tekippe, CEO of DoubleBeam. “The complimentary capabilities of these technologies will bring a unique and holistic solution to the retail industry. It’s exactly what our customers have been asking us for.”
