Carta Worldwide, a provider of next-generation transaction technology, has announced the launch of its end-to-end Host Card Emulation (HCE) solution for NFC mobile transaction applications.
This solution enables EMV secure transactions which are compatible with existing contactless POS acceptance systems but without the need for traditional integration and system upgrade costs. This solution also supports all operating systems with HCE capability.
Carta CEO Brian Semkiw commented: “Carta’s HCE technology will accelerate the deployment of NFC-based mobile products with a fraction of the cost of traditional models that are currently in market. This technology breakthrough will open up NFC mobile services to a broad market and provide simple solutions for banks, MNOs, program managers and other solution providers to deploy successful products to market.”
