mopay, a provider of innovative payment solutions for online merchants, has announced a carrier billing partnership with Deutsche Telekom.
The agreement will enable mopay to connect to Telekom’s international payment hub, through this direct access, markets and mobile customers will enjoy the frictionless mopay payment experience.
mopay and Deutsche Telekom will provide the best possible user experience for their respective customers as mopay will enable digital merchants to integrate the mopay platform as a carrier billing option into their checkout process, whereas Deutsche Telekom provides the back-end billing capabilities.
“The joint solution from mopay and Deutsche Telekom represents a mutual commitment to further stimulate market growth and work hand-in-hand to extend the benefits of mobile payments to more consumers and digital goods merchants,” said Ingo Lippert, CEO of mopay. “Granting mopay direct access to the Deutsche Telekom global billing infrastrucure reflects mopay’s trusted status, and it is the latest in a series of high-caliber agreements with leading global carrier groups such as Telefonica, Telenor, and Singtel.”
