Onebip by Neomobile and SingTel, a leading telecommunications provider in Asia, have announced the launch of direct carrier billing for Onebip merchants operating in Singapore.
This partnership will enable SingTel subscribers in Singapore, to charge purchases from Onebip merchants directly to their mobile phone bills. SingTel and Onebip by Neomobile will also support merchants wishing to enter or develop their presence in the Singaporean market, with local promotion and marketing activity.
Mobile payments via direct carrier billing enables merchants to reach new and unbanked customers who prefer to use a simple, secure and fast way of paying for their purchases without the need of a credit card or bank account.
